Thiacris is the goddess of mystery, discovery, and the unknown. She governs all that is not known and it the drive for revelation runs strong among her followers. The congregants of this faith eagerly latch on to questions and doggedly pursue them until they discover an answer. They often have an insatiable appetite for new ideas and finding hidden things. Explorers, scientists, archaeologists, musicians, meditators, and researchers are prevalent in the ranks of Thiacris’ faithful. Her priests are known to conceal their faces, and her temples are full of mirrors and keys.
The complement to the purview of Thiacris is the purview of Jormic, the god of knowledge. The relationship between these two faiths can vacillate wildly with the temperaments and beliefs of their individual members with some equally faithful to both and others claiming that they are antithetical to each other. Without a doubt the world experiences the greatest benefit when the two faiths work in tandem.
Thiacris was revealed to the world on November 17, 1217. Although (s)he was merely sleeping, the recorded world had no record of him(her) prior to this date, so much is still unknown.
