Mistress of the Wild
Eilona is the goddess of flora, fauna, and the elements. Her faithful value the natural cycles, the beasts, and the power of primal forces. They admire its beauty and accept its unwavering neutral realities, often with a rare awareness of their role in the great pattern of the wild world.
Many see the cities of the Purposed with the same eye as they see the anthill- the predictable behaviors of one of nature’s many creatures, a fragile moment that will not be remembered by the ground that it sits upon.
Faithful of Eilona are not always without compassion but it is almost always tempered by their understanding that in the primal workings of the world, when one creature dies it benefits another, and so the cycle goes on.
Eilona’s faithful come from all walks of life with many rangers, priests, teachers, philosophers, and hunters among them. Together with the Church of Koreel, they make up the unified Church of Terra Anima.
Eilona was revealed to the world on November 17, 1217. Although she was merely sleeping, the recorded world had no record of her prior to this date, so much is still unknown.
